It all started when…

I was called into the field of Esoteric Acupuncture Advanced Energy Healing the summer between my first and second year in acupuncture school when I bought Dr. Mikios first book in a Sonoma bookstore, drawn by my intuition to the purple and gold binding. Reading this book had so many elements that I had studied or, at least read reference to in other ancient wisdom traditions. I “knew” instantly that one day this was the acupuncture I would be doing. As the years passed, and I chose my continuing educations courses in order to qualify to renew my acupuncture license, I would check if it was the year to study with Dr. Mikio. 2016 finally was the year, and I attended all four levels, becoming one of his advanced practitioners.

Founded and taught by Dr. Mikio Sankey since the 1990’s this way of utilizing acupuncture is quite relevant to the time we are living. This a time of great expansion & awakening to our depth of potential and higher planes of consciousness.

What is Esoteric Acupuncture?

Esoteric Acupuncture Advanced Energy Healing is a system of acupuncture founded in the 1990’s by Dr, Mikio Sankey, combining Ancient Wisdom and Knowledge, ready to be implemented in that time were living. Sacred geometry formed with a precise order of activation at the acupuncture sides of opens the flow for your system to expand, align and grow. Many levels of your subtle energy body, aura and the Chakra/Nadi centers are able to rebalance, synchronize and aid in building your well-being.

Is it for you?

These sessions are for most clients with only a few exceptions where Traditional Acupuncture treatments might be recommended for that day or for several treatments.
Young and all ages including elders, do well with these sessions of acupuncture very thin gentle needles are used with non-needle sessions offered.
If you know your path is to be aligned with the great aspects of life and your greater self, then these patterns are a boon on your life path.
If you are a meditator and wanting to become more aware of your energetic nature than this way is for you. Ongoing sessions with the patterns bring greater opening to the many levels of your being, deepening connection to your heart center and the quiet stillness within.
These patterns can be utilized when a concern does not heal or you feel/know that there are deeper aspects to what you are experiencing.

What to expect

Your first session includes a detailed conversation about you and your goals for starting with Esoteric Acupuncture Advanced Energy Healing as part of your life journey. Multiple lens of perception are utilized to begin to align you with the ways Esoteric Acupuncture can assist on the many levels of your being. Very specific patterns of acupuncture are chosen utilizing very thin needles and gentle insertion allowing even the most sensitive client ease and comfort in their session. Although traditional acupuncture points are used in setting the patterns of geometry in a sequence, there are many nuances to how and why the points are part of the system of Esoteric Acupuncture.

Patterns are on both the back or front of the body, most commonly both sides are used in 2 parts lasting around 90 minutes, not including our detailed conversation. Please set aside time after your session to integrate, take a short walk, write in your journal or simply enjoy spaciousness and quiet.

The typical follow-up Esoteric Acupuncture session is similar, with a short conversation about how you are and your focus for the session, it also consists of 2 parts and it takes about 90 minutes. Most commonly, people feel very relaxed and they report expansion, insights and creativity and a host of changes both physical and mental/emotional. Again, please set aside time in your calendar after your session to enjoy your expanded awareness and personal ah-ha’s.
